Olugbenga Salako attended Archbishop Vining College of Theology, Akure for his ministerial formation and was ordered a deacon in 2004 by The Rt. Revd. Prof Joseph Akin Omoyajowo, he was Priested in 2005 by The Rt. Revd. Ezekiel Ayo Awosoga.

He proceeded to Tai Solarin College of Education, Ijagun Ijebu Ode, where he bagged a Bachelor Degree in Education (B.Ed, Christian Religious Studies/Political Science) of the University of Ibadan. He was a pioneer student of Crowther Graduate Theological Seminary (CGTS), Abeokuta and was awarded Master in Theology (M.Th, Church History). He owns a Master of Arts degree (M.A. Comparative Studies of Religions, with special biased in Islam) of the University of Ibadan.

The Ven Olugbenga Salako, after over a decade of Parish experience in Ijebu Anglican Diocese, joined the Faculty of Archbishop Vining College of Theology, Akure in 2015 and presently teaching Inter-Religious Relations, Psychology of Christian Education, Homiletics, Practical Theology, Liturgy & Worship.

He had held different Leadership Positions in the College:
