The Ven. Dr Simeon Iruo-Oghene Akponorie, a Nigerian and lecturer at Archbishop Vining College of Theology, Akure.  He lectures Old Testament courses, Jewish Studies, Hebrew language, biblical Hermeneutics and Christian Theology. He studied at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria for both his  Master’s and Doctoral degrees. He is well grounded in biblical scholarship. 
He also holds a postgraduate certificate in  Education, which qualifies him as a Professional Educationist.  
Dr Akponorie has published a number of books,which include:
